When I attend events or just head out the house to run errands, I always bring some stickers with me to hand out to everybody. Everybody! 

Sometimes I am surprised when someone says: No Thanks. 
What?! who doesn't like stickers?! 

I love stickers and that is where my art goes first, on a sticker so I can stick one on my laptop, tablet and anywhere a sticker will stick. 

Years ago I came across a deal between Adobe Illustrator (my favorite vector app) and StickerMule, plus I saw their stickers at Adobe MAX in LA, the sticker quality made me a believer. I have printed dozens of stickers with my art since and these here are the latest: The Skully Series and Skully Iconic stickers.

What started out as a cool idea to draw some skulls, soon became a bigger mission. 

Now the Skully Series is here and a plan is in motion to bring you some amazing art by amazing artists. Yes. Artists. Plural.I have recruited a few artists to bring in their flavor to the Skullys. 

I can't wait to show you all that is coming to the Skully Series. The First drop is scheduled for late September and we will have a total of three drops to include all 144 Skullys!

I started drawing skulls as a young child, as a Chicano growing up in East LA, Skulls are part of our culture. 

The Day of the Dead is a real tradition. I remember visiting the cemetery and bringing gifts, flowers, food, drink and spending all day with other families visiting their departed ancestors. 

Skulls spark my imagination in ways that transcend art mediums, culture, popular media and religion. 

I am just starting to comprehend how deep my roots go in the way of the Skulls and what it means to humanity. I want to share my experience with you as I continue to explore the Skullys in art, in this series I call: Skullys.
